CNC Operator Job

CAM/CNC Engineer
Full Time Permanent
Katikati, Bay of Plenty
Salary Range: $70-$80K

A company that employs the best, respects skills and experience and rewards achievements accordingly, Triodent is continuously building up their award winning team. Right now they are looking to add to their manufacturing team with a CAM/CNC Engineer to help develop and drive implementation of their new tool room and undertake some complex machining.

Your role will involve:
  • Investigating, analyzing and developing efficient manufacturing processes to optimize productivity from CNC equipment and reduce overall manufacturing costs.
  • Optimizing the manufacturing methods and processes used by operating an efficient and functional workplace at all times.

Success in this role will be determined by:
  • Extensive 5 Axis CNC programming experience is essential, particularly in machining small, prismatic components.
  • CAM programming experience with Camtool® would be desirable but not essential, if you have had experience with other similar software.
  • Be a Trade Certified Fitter Turner (or similar) with a good grounding in metrology (measurement) and metal cutting.
  • Able to read and interpret Engineering Drawings
  • You will be a good all rounder with experience in working manual machines and general workshop equipment such as mills lathes, bench presses etc, along with the new CNC machines
  • A team player with a positive attitude who works well with others
