Agri Territory Sales Representative

TERRITORY SALES REPRESENTATIVE 
Full Time, Permanent 
Canterbury,  South Island
Good $base + commission, car and phone  

Kliptank’s business involves the design, manufacture, sale and installation of quality tank solutions to a wide and diverse client base.  Their tanks are unique in that they are based around a patented Klip together design, allowing them to be flat packed onto pallets and easily trucked or shipped to site. Their growing market is in the dairy industry with 70% of product being sold to dairy farmers as open top dairy effluent storage tanks.  Their brand and reputation are growing in this industry as their solution for storing dairy effluent above ground is environmentally friendly and innovative. 

They currently employ two Sales Representatives in the North Island and are keen to expand further into the South Island.  The territory will be from Oamaru to Kaikoura, so a central base such as Christchurch or Ashburton would be ideal for someone with a home office base. Reporting directly to the General Manager the position of Sales Representative is a highly visible role and pivotal in the success of the company ensuring the highest standard of customer satisfaction.   

Role and Responsibilities include:
·      Accountable for sales, sourcing leads and referrals and developing client relationships 
·     Booking appointments and regular travel to provide effective territory cover 
.    Assisting in the development and implementation of marketing plans, promotions and sales of the Kliptank range offering up to date, innovative and creative storage solutions 
 ·      Carrying out pre-install laser level site inspections and checking suitability and readiness for install 
 ·      After sales follow-up and support, including a post-install tank maintenance schedule and ensuring procedural checks are carried out 
 ·      Maintaining a current and prospective customer data base utilising Kliptank systems including MS Office suite and their CRM system 
 ·      Filing weekly sales and activity reports, keeping accurate records of all leads and prospecting activities including sales calls, discussions, closed sales and follow up within assigned areas 
 ·      Attending training courses as required, to enhance knowledge and skills relating to company products and new industry developments, rules and regulations 
 ·      Attending meetings, field days, shows, seminars, farmers discussion groups etc relevant to maintaining a presence and profile in the market place
 
To be successful in this role you will be: 
 ·      Highly self motivated, results driven and able to work independently 
 ·      Ideally come from a Sales background related to the Dairy Farming industry 
 ·      Physically fit and able to carry out site visits with prospective clients 
 ·      Proficient in using computerised CRM tools and Microsoft Office programmes 
 ·      Set up to work from home or a ‘Hot Spot’ office with Internet Broadband / mobile phone coverage 
 ·      Exceptional at communication and account managing skills 
 ·      Excellent at self organising, time management and record keeping skills 
 ·      Adaptable with a ‘can do’ attitude and the drive to take this business to its full potential
