Quality Assurance Engineer
& Administration Assistant

Quality Assurance Engineer

Our client is looking to add to their Quality Team and they need people with the right skills to further develop, implement and embed robust Quality Systems that are compliant with 21CFR820 and ISO 13485, participate in root cause analysis, process and design validation, test method validations, complaint investigations, new product development support, monitoring KPIs and other duties as required

Ideally we are looking for a Quality Engineer with:
  • Previous experience in developing, implementing and enhancements to Quality Systems in GMP regulated manufacturing environments
  • An in-depth understanding of 21CFR820 and ISO 13485
  • Previous experience in medical devices
  • Solid quality assurance knowledge and experience (5+ years) 
  • Great project management skills  
  • Training experience and the ability to assess and monitor learning outcomes
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical field, CQE and/or Six Sigma Certification
  • Validation experience (write, approve and perform test protocols, DOE, Gage R&R, ANOVA, SPC, Pareto Analysis)
  • Design control experience (review and approve DMRs, Technical Files and DHFs)
  • Sound knowledge in developing and maintaining PFMEA throughout the life of device
  • Proficient computer skills, MS Office and Minitab (an advantage)
  • Sound statistical knowledge
  • Internal auditing ISO13485 QMS experience (3+ years) and experience with CAPA systems



Administration Assistant

We are also looking for an Administration Assistant to provide administrative and clerical services across the company, to maintain effective and efficient operations.

This role involves:
  • General Administrative and Clerical Support for the Senior Management Team, Quality Department and Sales and Marketing Team, including back up duties for other Manufacturing Administration Staff when required
  • Arranging all aspects of meetings including bookings, writing agendas, minute taking, internal and external client communications
  • Arranging national and international Travel for Senior Management
  • Organising company functions and events
  • Sales and marketing support and order processing
  • Ensuring compliance with all new and existing Health & Safety policies, procedures and requirements
  • General office administration duties including answering phones, faxing, scanning, filing, formatting documents and templates, SOP control and data management of records and reporting, creating and updating spreadsheets, dealing with complaints, product notifications, customer communications, credit requests, bulk client mail outs etc

The successful candidate will:
  • Have 5 plus years of hands-on administrative support experience
  • Ideally with experience in organising events and travel bookings
  • Knowledge of quality assurance  / quality control in a manufacturing environment would be advantageous
  • Experience in customer returns process and service administration
  • Experience with formal minute taking for meetings
  • Highly accurate data entry skills
  • Adept at following systems and processes
  • Knowledge of operating standard office equipment
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • High level of communication skills, both written and verbal 
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritize projects
  • Strong problem solving and solution finding skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility, adaptability and excellent attitude towards change
