$60K base salary + bonus and commissions $110K OTE - with uncapped potential to earn much more.

Kliptank have an opportunity for a solution focused Sales Engineer to join their team.  

Due to growth and opportunities that exist within council, commercial and industrial sectors, Kliptank are seeking an energetic and technically minded Sales Engineer who will build on the success they have already achieved.

Kliptank's business involves the design, manufacture, sale and installation of quality storage solutions to a wide and diverse client base. Their tanks are unique in that they are based around a patented Klip together design allowing them to be flat packed onto pallets and easily transported to site. They operate a successful business from their manufacturing premises based in Tauranga, with a dedicated and highly qualified engineering team developing new systems and products, along with motivated and professional office support staff and installers who ensure delivery of quality products.

Their largest market is the agriculture industry with both open top and covered dairy effluent storage solutions being sold to dairy farmers. However, Kliptanks brand and reputation as innovators has grown over the last 7 years with their product range now including tanks, aeration stirrers and storage of many other products. Kliptanks solutions for storing and treating all types of water, effluent and other products is environmentally friendly and they are focused on increasing profitability returns and productivity for their varied industry clients.

Key Skills, Attributes and Role Requirements.....

We are seeking an experienced Sales Consultant with:
  • Proven success in a technical sales environment.
  • Ideally with knowledge of industrial treatment, wastewater / water supply systems / hydraulics / pumps.
  • Happy to lead all aspects of the sales process from prospecting and proposals for both new and existing clients through to manufacturing completion, installation and after sales follow up.
  • Highly focused on account management and customer care.
  • Enthusiasm for identifying potential markets and ability to think outside the box and uncover new opportunities and solutions.
  • An interest in assisting the team with solution development, design, coordination, manufacturing and implementation ideas.
  • Driven by meeting sales targets and achieving KPI's.
  • Great relationship building skills that build product confidence.
  • Practical with hands on engineering / mechanical know how.
  • Able to travel regularly within NZ to assigned geographical sales territory and attend meetings with prospects, along with sales events, field days and seminars.
  • Keen to keep up to date with industry developments and build a profile in the market place.
  • Well organised, attention to detail and a great communicator
  • Good level of computer skills are required for maintaining CRM software database, recording, reporting and completing administrative tasks and paperwork.
