Part-Time Administration and Sales Support - Tauranga Jobs


Permanent Part-Time
20 Hours per week 9.00am – 1.00pm Monday to Friday
The Lakes, Tauriko, Tauranga
$17 - $19 p/h
This is a part time position assisting the Sales Coordinator with administration tasks. The role is 20 hours per week  - 5 mornings per week on a permanent part time basis.
We welcome candidates who are reasonably new to the workforce, or are getting back into working, so long as you have previous customer service experience and a high level of computer (advanced MS Excel) and administration skills, are confident and not afraid to call the shots, have a precise personality with strict attention to detail and are a bit of a stickler at getting things 100% right. 

You will also still like to have a laugh and be part of a supportive team.
You must have had experience dealing with clients in a professional manner, as the role will involve dealing with customers (farmers and council engineers) and also other equipment suppliers to site.
Tasks & responsibilities

  • Use of Excel and Word as primary tools for administration
  • Assisting in the day to day tasks of ensuring accurate processing of sales including completion of Building Consents, written communication and invoicing
  • Work with the installation team and service technician to ensure programmed work is scheduled, completed and signed off
  • Management of current customer files and records to ensure maintenance schedules are met and information is complete
  • Day to day office duties including answering phones, reception, mail, filing
  • Experienced in Health & Safety processes
  • Dealing with customers to ensure outcomes are met
  • Both written & verbal communication skills are important

Qualifications and necessary experience
  • High level of experience with Microsoft Office including Excel and Word
  • Ability to multi-task and work with all levels of the business from manufacturing to sales, installation and management
  • Knowledge of working with councils and the processing of building consents would be an advantage
  • Demonstrate a track record of face to face / phone / customer service skills
  • Demonstrate prior team work history
  • Full drivers license (preferable)
