Pacific Stone is proud to be one of The Bay of Plenty's largest one-stop companies for manufacturing, fabrication, and installation of Kitchen and Bathroom Benchtops made out of Granite, Marble, Caesar Stone, Silestone, Quantum Quartz and Pacific Quartz and all customised and installed to our clients requirements.
The best quality stone is sourced from around the world and delivered to our factory in Tauranga where Pacific Stone craftsmen utilise the latest technology for cutting, shaping and profiling each product to meet the design standards of our customers, while enhancing the beauty of stone products.
Due to continued growth we now require a motivated, honest, and reliable person with previous experience in operating CNC machinery.
The CNC operator will be responsible for: 
  • Operating a new Intermac 33 CNC Machine with the latest technology in Tauranga.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing stone bench tops, predominantly for Kitchens would be a definite advantage and previous CNC operating experience is a must.

A company that employs the best, respects skills and experience and rewards achievements accordingly, Rhondium is continuously building up their award winning team. Right now they are looking to add to their Tool-room team with a CNC PROGRAMMER / MACHINIST to provide support to the R&D design team for the manufacture of components.

This role will involve:
  • Producing CNC programmes to machine complex parts in a range of materials.
  • Proving out, and running, small to medium batch sizes of components.
  • Developing efficient manufacturing processes to optimise productivity from CNC equipment and reduce overall manufacturing times and costs.
  • Optimising manufacturing methods and processes by operating an efficient, clean and functional workplace at all times.

To be successful in this role you will:
  • Be used to working in an environment where GMP is a fundamental requirement.
  • Have extensive 3 Axis CNC programming experience. It is considered that a minimum of 7 years programming and operating CNC machines would be required to successfully fill this role.
  • Have CAM programming experience with Delcam® products such as POWERMILL® and FeatureCAM ® would be desirable, but not essential.  If you have experience with similar CAM products then consideration may be given for training.
  • Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and produce parts to tight tolerances.
  • Ideally have experience with Solidworks® CAD software
  • A machining background within a medical device manufacturing company, would be very desirable, but not essential.
  • Be a good all-rounder with experience in working manual machines and general workshop equipment such as mills, lathes, bench presses etc., along with CNC machines
  • You need to be a team player with a positive attitude, who works well with others.
