A super busy Tauranga family are looking for a part time Home Executive for a regular 20 hours per week housekeeping, cooking, cleaning, after school care and to provide child care cover for occasional weekends and holidays. 

With two professional full time working parents, they are keen to find someone who can run a busy household, cook great meals and shuttle the children around when necessary. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Planning menus, preparing and cooking healthy and wholesome meals
  • Baking for school lunches and weekends 
  • Pre-ordering, picking up and unpacking groceries
  • Housework, keeping house clean and tidy
  • Laundry (washing, drying, folding, ironing)
  • Child minding and transferring children to and from afterschool and weekend activities 
  • Ensuring the entire household runs smoothly, including supervising and organising tradesman and other service providers
  • Helping with preparations for special occasions
  • Gardening, weeding and general light maintenance is an option for extra hours if desired

This is a 'live-out' role and they are offering a good hourly rate and lovely guest quarters for any overnight stays, and the opportunity to make this role your own by seeing what needs to be done and making it happen.

Hours are reasonably flexible and will be agreed upon on commencement of the role.  Some days you would be required to work until 6.30pm.  You would also need to work every second Saturday from 8:30 till 12:30.

Ideally you will be able to do extra hours occasionally and to have sole charge of the children when parents are required to travel out of town. Availability and flexibility for extra hours in the school holidays would also be ideal. 

We are looking for someone with a warm personality, energy, enthusiasm, great organisational skills and a good sense of humour.

Great cooking skills to feed a family and a passion for food are a must. You will also need a clean driver's license, reliable transport to get to work (family car provided whilst on duty), excellent references and experience working in a busy household (or perhaps in a hospitality, super yacht stewardess / chef, nanny, au-pair or carer role).
