Part Time Accounts and Payroll Position - Tauranga


Part-Time 6 Month Contract
25 Hours per week 9.00am – 3.00pm Monday to Friday
$17 - $21 per hour
The Lakes, Tauriko, Tauranga
Kliptank is in an exciting growth phase and are seeking an individual to assist their Purchasing and Finance Coordinator, as she focuses on implementing their new Ostendo Accounting programme.  This is a fixed term part time role that we envisage being 25 hours per week for a period of 6 months and will suit those looking for work within school hours.
This role does call for previous accounts experience ideally in Quickbooks, Exceland Ace Payroll, and could suit someone returning to work who has initiative and attention to detail and wants to get back into the workforce on a part time basis. You will be assisting in the day to day management of the company accounts including payables, receivables, bank reconciliations, credit card bills, invoice processing, maintaining finance filing systems and Time Sheet and Payroll processing.
Role Objective:  The role of the Accounts Administrator is to provide support and assist the Purchasing and Finance Coordinator in performing their tasks.
Tasks and responsibilities
  • Use of Quickbooks and Excel as primary tools for financial administration
  • Assisting in the day to day management of the company accounts including payables / receivables / regular bank reconciliations
  • Time Sheet and Payroll processing via Quickbooks and Ace Payroll
  • All creditors’ invoices are entered accurately, coded correctly and authorised prior to payment
  • Ensure credit card bills are entered, coded, correctly authorised and reconciled
  • Maintain Finance filing systems ensuring they are up to date, accurate and accessible 
  • Complete bank reconciliation at month end and during the month 
  • Complete IRD obligations including GST & PAYE Returns in a timely manner
  • Some stock ordering for manufacturing jobs including Just-In-Time ordering and planning
  • Inventory tracking and stocktaking
Qualifications and necessary experience
  • High level of experience with Quickbooks or Xero accounting systems
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel and Word
  • Ability to multi-task and work with all levels of the business from manufacturing to sales, installation and management
  • Knowledge of Ostendo would be an advantage
  • Full drivers license (preferable)
  • Experienced in Health and Safety processes

  • Good communication skills both written & verbal
