The Recruitment Outsourcer
THANK YOU TO OUR CLIENTS
5 Years ago on 1 September 2012, One21 - The Recruitment Outsourcer was proud to bill our very first placement, as a brand new niche recruitment agency and outsourcer.
Simon Grant was our No1 candidate and Simon McDonald and Jodee Dyball from Triodent Ltd gave me the opportunity to start a recruitment business on my own, by providing unwavering support and faith in my recruitment skills.
Thank you for your ongoing support Triodent, Dentsply Sirona and Rhondium and also thank you to my many other clients who have put their trust in One21 to source talent for their businesses.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ALL EMPLOYERS
Employee justifiably dismissed for medical incapacity…
An employee has been dismissed 22 months after suffering a serious spinal and pelvic injury while at work. The employee returned to work after a year, under a graduated return to work programme organised by ACC. The employee completed light duties and had built up to working 16 hour weeks when his occupational medical specialist told him that he would not be able to return to work in his pre-injury role.

Slow down and Recruit right...
Recruiting new employees is often in response to an urgent need to fill a skills shortage, or vacated seat and sometimes the sensitive and emotional circumstances surrounding that vacancy can lead to a hasty hiring process and poor decisions being made.
Kirsty Morrison from One21 Recruitment believes the key to making a great hire is; “Having a robust recruitment process in place, getting to know a businesses’ culture, needs and people, using a creative and effective job-marketing plan that reaches both active and passive job seekers, being impartial and objective and asking thorough questions of everyone involved throughout the process, ensuring a sound match”.

Why would I
choose to go ‘Dry’ in July?
As a tribute to those who are battling
with cancer – those who will win and those sadly who have lost.
Our darling girlfriend has melanoma
cancer in her blood stream and every day we are grateful for the services provided
and the care and support that she receives, as well the drug trial that she has
the opportunity to be on. And
every day we wish there was more that could be done for her.
The loss of my own mother to secondary
liver cancer, my uncle and grandfather to bowel cancer and also many family
friends to other cancers, including another very special lady just this week, means
the C-Word is a terrifying thing for me to hear (especially now I have to have
annual colonoscopies myself), as it is I am sure for hundreds of thousands of
other Kiwis and their families suffering around New Zealand.
